Ingredients

  • 1 overripe frozen banana
  • 1 avocado
  • 3 tablespoons of raw cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoons of JT’s organic coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 1 x 300 gm packet of silken tofu
  • 3 heaped tablespoons of honey or coconut nectar
  • 2 tap vanilla bean paste
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon

 

Silky chocolate mousse

This mousse is jam packed full of superfood goodness and yet it tastes throughly wicked and just like the real deal! At JT’s we are huge believers that food shouldn’t have to take an age to prepare: this recipe is no exception.

Pop everything into a food processor on high for two minutes until smooth and creamy. Pour into two glasses and pop into the fridge to set (mixture will thicken upon chilling). You can double the quantities if you need to feed more people. Also you can top with cacao nibs as I have done in the image. Refined sugar, dairy and gluten free!  Enjoy
