Choc coffee caramel Smoothie:

Raw chocolate sauce:

  • 1/2 cup of cacao
  • 1/2 cup of jt’s coconut oil 
  • 1/2 cup of rice malt syrup or coconut nectar
  • 8 soft dates pitted

Super choc coffee caramel smoothie

A delicious smoothie with a coffee kick to get your day started and topped off with a raw choc caramel sauce. YUM!

For the smoothie blend all ingredients in a powerful blender or Vitamix.

To make the sauce: on a very low heat melt the coconut oil and rice malt syrup until melted and warmed. Remove from the heat and pour into the blender along with the dates and cacao powder. Blend until super smooth and the pour down the sides of the serving glass. Before consuming mix with a spoon and enjoy! N.B. The extra sauce will keep in the fridge in airtight jar for a few days- use over icecream or yogurt- or perhaps use to dip pieces of fruit in to- delicious!
