Ingredients

  • 1 x sachet of Pink Pitaya
  • 250ml of JT’s NEW Tropical Coconut Water
  • Frozen mango chunks
  • A squeeze of lime juice to taste
  • Ice

 

Tropical Pink Pitaya and Coconut Smoothie

Smoothies are a great way to stay healthy and hydrated during Summer.

This smoothie recipe combines the tropical flavours of passionfruit, pineapple and coconut with the vibrant colour of Pink Pitaya (aka dragonfruit)

Pitaya is often considered to be a ‘tropical superfood’ because of the many health benefits that can be enjoyed when the fruit is incorporated into your diet.

These health benefits are mainly attributed to the antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that this exotic fruit contains. Pink Pitaya actually has quite a subtle flavour – especially when compared to its dramatic looks which is why it blends perfectly with our new Tropical Coconut Water. 

METHOD: 

Combine all ingredients in a high powered blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
